On the first working day on April 20, 2022 we had a meeting with prof. Barbara Namysłowska-Gabrysiak Head of the Warsaw Legal Clinic. The meeting discussed the functioning of the legal clinic at this University. On the same day, a meeting was held with Ewelina Milan at Łazarski University. At this University we also visited the law clinic and met some of the law high school students in Warsaw. The director of the clinic Ewelina Milan presented the work that is done and showed that this clinic accepts up to 600 cases per year in the areas that the clinic has. In order for a clinic to function, you need to build a good team and public authority in order for it to be fully operational. According to the agenda, A meeting was held with Dr. Katarzyna Antolak-Szymanski Head of Legal Clinics at SWPS University. Data on the functioning of legal clinics at SWPS University were also presented at this meeting. Dr. Katarzyna Antolak-Szymanski also provided data on completed courses, form of work and the way of organizing legal clinics. The last meeting for the first working day was with Bartosz Baranowski - representative of the legal clinic at Koźmiński University - Their experiences on the operation of legal clinics were also presented by representatives of Koźmiński University. In this meeting, in addition to presentations, there were also discussions between the participants. The second working day on April 21, 2022 took place in the city of Krakow in Poland. The first meeting was with students working at the Jagiellonian University Law Clinics. Students showed how to administer the case archive, presenting physical and digital archiving. There are cases when a lot of material is collected which requires archiving space. On the same day, in Krakow, a meeting was held with Dr. Wojciech Górowski representative of the Jagiellonian University Legal Clinic, with whom were also discussed ways of managing students, mentoring and overall development of clinics at the Jagiellonian University. The third working day took place at the Foundation of Legal Clinics of Poland. We had the first meeting with Dr. Aleksandra Klich from Szczecin University. The meeting discussed the forms and ways of determining the teaching methodology for legal clinics. The second meeting of this day was with Dr. Marta Kuklo from Białystok University. Presentation of Dr. Marta Kuklo was for mediation as a process.She pointed out the importance of mediation and stressed the great need to carry out such cases which facilitate the work of the Courts. The third meeting took place in two sessions. The first session was with Dr. Aleksandra Klich from Szczecin University.This lecture addressed the importance of training for the development of psychological skills and their importance in legal clinics.Given the specific cases, the emotions of the clients and their material and spiritual condition. The second session of this lecture discussed Street Law which is a legal and civic education program dedicated to high school students.According to Ewelina Milan from Lazarsazarski University, Street Law is an approach to learning law in a practical way using interactive teaching methodologies. Last meeting for this visit was held with Dr. Filip Czernicki, to make a summary of the study visit and to see the lessons learned from it. With Dr. Filip Czernicki, head of the Foundation of Polish Legal Clinics, discussed the effects of the visit and ways to implement these experiences in Kosovo universities. Dr. Czernicki has expressed his readiness to contribute to the construction and operation of legal clinics in Kosovo.
