GREEN LEGAL AID and ENEMLOS PROJECT

Members of the PMT project ENEMLOS, Prof. Dr. Biljana Đuričin and Assoc.prof. Dr. Nikola Dožić talked with the representatives of the NGO Center for the Protection of Birds and the Korina Association, Jana Iković, Stefan Šljukić and Tijana Kovačević about cooperation through the ENEMLOS project. It was concluded that in the field of ecology in Montenegro, there are a number of problems in solving which students who work at the clinics of the Faculty of Law can take part and that they can give free legal advice and opinions to interested clients through their activities. This should be preceded by the education of students in order to provide adequate and high-quality legal advice. This type of aid is known as green legal aid. The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Bar Association of Montenegro, Dr. Nina Radulović. ENEMLOS is one of the largest projects of the UoM Faculty of Law, which is supported within the Erasmus+ program for capacity building in the field of higher education. The key goals of this project are the modernization and orientation of the existing teaching practice, especially in practical legal disciplines. Also, the goal is to increase the capacity of law faculties; acquiring new and developing existing legal skills; and the establishment of long-term and sustainable cooperation with the legal institutions of the countries participating in the Project. The goal is to develop students' interest and motivation; improving the employability of law students and enabling the wider community - especially vulnerable clients to protect their rights by providing them with free and quality legal advice.
