Representatives of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, one of the partner institutions in the ENEMLOS project, visited the Faculty of Law of the UoM in the period from June 29 to July 1. The delegation of the Faculty of Law from Zagreb consisted of: prof. Dr. Alan Uzelac, head of the Legal Clinic in Zagreb, as well as academic mentors Assoc. Dr. Marko Bratković and Dr. Juraj Brozović.

As one of the planned project activities, the purpose of the visit was to tour the Law Clinics at the Faculty of Law of the UoM, which started working in May this year, and to evaluate the work done so far and provide additional education in the direction of their further development and successful functioning. We would like to remind you that the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, as an educational institution with long experience in the "clinical" education of law students and a partner in the project, made a great contribution to the education of Montenegrin partners, through two trainings held during the previous year: in the form of online training and through the visit of Montenegrin representatives Zagreb and immediate insight into the work of the Zagreb Law Clinic. Therefore, this visit was an exceptional opportunity to complete the knowledge acquired during previous trainings, especially bearing in mind that the Zagreb model of clinical education and provision of free legal aid was a leading model in the establishment of Legal Clinics in Podgorica. During the three-day visit, the delegates talked with representatives of the Faculty of Law of the UoM and other partner institutions from Montenegro. On the first day of the visit, a meeting was held, attended by representatives of non-academic institutions, as well as students engaged in Law Clinics, in addition to guests from Zagreb and members of the management project team. Vice dean for international cooperation and member of the project team, prof. Dr. Vladimir Savković, and the project coordinator, prof. Biljana Đuričin, Ph.D., opened the meeting and presented the results achieved so far in the implementation of the project. Asst. Dr. Velibor Korać introduced the Croatian colleagues to the process of selecting students to work in the Clinics and the applied criteria, as well as the training of the selected students conducted before starting work. Engaged students, who attended the meeting in large numbers, made a special contribution to the discussion, presenting their initial impressions and experiences and asking questions to the participants from Zagreb. The participants of the meeting, after the meeting, toured the premises of the Law Clinics, adapted for this purpose and equipped with modern technological equipment. During the following days, the delegation, together with the project coordinator prof. Dr. Biljan Đuričin and members of the project team, visited non-academic partner institutions: the Supreme Court of Montenegro, the Chamber of Public Executors of Montenegro and the Chamber of Notaries of Montenegro. During these visits, the participants exchanged experiences regarding the role of non-academic mentors in the education of law students, and assessed the participation of these institutions in the project as extremely significant.
