The invitation for the training was sent to the staff of the UHZ, University of Prishtina, University “Kadri Zeka” Gjilan, Gjilan Basic Court as well as to the staff of Bar Association of Kosovo.
June 8, 2022-During this study visit, participants were welcomed by Professor Neven Andjelic, ENEMLOS project manager for Regent’s University London and Professor Lawrence Phillips, who also introduced them to the program for this study visit. After, Professor Andjelic talked about the importance of the practical legal teaching. The staff of Kosovo partners were introduced to the experiences of the Regent University of London about the ways of theoretical and practical teaching in the field of justice through the excellent presentation by Mr. Philip Benjamin. Then, the staff was notified by Mr. Cecile Ogufere about teaching methods in the field of law and preparing students for the labour market. In addition, they were divided into groups and advised for the next day work. Mr Neven Andjelic organised and tour around the Regent University London campus. June 9, 2022- During the second day of this study visit, the participants were introduced to the experience of Regent University London about their strategy to increase the employability of their students. This presentation was provided by Mrs. Maria Charalambous, z. Stephen Barber, and Mr. Mohsin Aboobaker. After this presentation, the staff participated in the workshop on "Development of employability-focused learning outcomes." and present learning outcomes for law studies. During the afternoon session, the participants were introduced to the UK experiences about the practice of how to ''Talk about legal counselling clinics in practice and practical work of the Prisoners Advisory Service, as a non-profit organization.'' This experience was shared by Ms. Lubia Begum-Rob. During this afternoon session, the staff also participated in the Workshop on "New assessment methods to increase students' readiness for professional life." During this workshop, the staff was divided into groups and presented the possible forms and methods for the assessment of law students based on their experiences and based on the information obtained during this workshop. This workshop was moderated by Mrs. Maria Charalambous, z. Stephen Barber, and Mr. Mohsin Aboobaker. June 10, 2022- During the third day of this study visit, participants benefited from the workshop on "Creating and Developing Ethics for Teaching in the field of justice." This workshop was organized by Stephen Barber, Ariane Agostini and Angels Trias-I-Valls. Participants learned in details about the Regent University experiences on how to take care of ethics during the teaching process in the field of law.
