On Monday, September 13th 2021, the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro held a meeting of members of the management team of the project ENEMLOS (Legal Clinics in Service of Vulnerable Groups: Enhancing the Employability of Law Students through Practical Education) led by the project coordinator Professor Biljana Đuričin. Further implementation of the project was discussed at the meeting, having in mind the Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro's report on the project performance so far, which was especially discussed. The report has been compiled after the monitoring visit that took place on June 24, 2021. According to the Erasmus+ Office's report the overall implementation of the project so far has been assessed as successful and most of the planned activities have been successfully realized, despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the report included certain recommendations for further implementation of the project, future activities were discussed at the meeting in order to meet the recommended goals. Further activities have been agreed, including those that will additionally enhance the cooperation between academic and non-academic partners in the project, as well as intensify the project's dissemination activities, through local media and other means of information. To that end, the participation of the PMT members at the upcoming Justice Fair organised by the Bar Association of Montenegro was agreed, as well as the improvement of the project's website. Proposals for amandements to the Law on Higher Education were also discussed, in the light of the legal provisions on practical education, as well as the improvement of cooperation with the Ministry of Justice. Also inter-project coaching with Erasmus+ project DUALMON – Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in Montenegro Higher Education, which is coordinated by the University of Novi Sad while the University of Montenegro is among the partners in the project. The organisation of a study visit to the University of Zagreb, which is planned in the upcoming period, has also been discussed. The visit will contribute to the acquisition of necessary knowledge and skills for establishment and operation of legal clinics within the Faculty of Law in Podgorica. That objective be achieved through exchange of experiences with the Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, which will host the ENEMLOS project partners from Montenegro. The ENEMLOS project is supported under the Erasmus+ Programme Building Capacity in the Field of Higher Education. The project includes three eminent institutions that successfully engage in clinical legal education: the Faculty of Law the University of Zagreb, Regents University of London and the Foundation of Legal Clinics of Poland.
