Kick off Meeting of the project: “Legal Clinics for the Service of Vulnerable Groups: Enhancing the Employability of Law Students through Practical Education - ENEMLOS, took place from 23 to 26 February 2020 in Budva. The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, which is also the coordinator of the project whose English title is “ENEMLOS”, hosted this meeting.

In addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Law, prof. Dr. Anete Spaić, introductory speech was given by Vanja Drljević, Coordinator of the National Erasmus + Office and Mubera Kurpejović, Director General of the Directorate for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by all ENEMLOS academic and non-academic partners, including representatives of the University of Zagreb Law School, Regent's University of London, and the University of Warsaw, the academic partners with extensive experience in the organization of clinical education of lawyers that will conduct trainings at the University of Montenegro and the law faculties from Kosovo participating in this project.

During this meeting, issues of immediate importance for the successful organization and implementation of the project were discussed.

The project is of particular importance for the development of the legal education system in Montenegro, because within this framework Montenegrin law students will for the first time have the opportunity to work with the so-called legal experts and under the guidance of renowned experts from the Montenegrin judiciary and academia. "Live clients". In other words, Montenegrin and Kosovo citizens who need it, and especially vulnerable groups, will have the opportunity to receive free legal aid provided by students at the Faculties from Montenegro and Kosovo involved in this project.

The quality of the legal aid provided will be ensured by the participation of law school teachers and prominent judiciary experts from legal professional’s form Montenegro and Kosovo.
